The current federal security clearance process presents one of the greatest challenges to federal employees, uniformed personnel, and government contractors. Barriers to timely and effective issuance of clearances, whether stemming from policy or processes, represent a significant threat not only to federal mission, but to our homeland and national security. At this session, we’ll hear from a panel of expert government officials charged with operating and improving the federal security clearance regime, and explore potential strategies and solutions for achieving enhanced reciprocity, reduced backlogs and wait times, and greater security.
